If you work at Broader Assurance Services (BAS), you will have the opportunity to think creatively about complex issues, come up with solutions, and advise clients on the future. BAS offers a wide range of services to clients, using innovative techniques, products, and tools to proactively monitor and manage risks. In addition, we provide advice on complex technical (financial) issues and support during a deal or capital market transaction. • Helping clients to be more in control by improving their reporting, such as financial or ESG reporting, by enhancing internal control frameworks and risk management capabilities.
• Supporting clients in the interpretation and implementation of financial regulations, such as Basel III/IV, CRR I/II, CRD IV, IFR/IFD, and Solvency II.
• Assisting clients in calculating their carbon footprint and helping to establish reduction targets.
• Advising clients on complex accounting and reporting issues during IPOs, deals, and other impactful transformations.
• Assisting clients in developing digital strategies, guiding software selection, defining enterprise architectures, implementing systems and tools, and providing program and project management support.

Within Core Audit, you perform audits that provide additional assurance to our clients' financial statements. You provide insights into risks and opportunities within the organization. Working on a project basis, you work in different teams and with different clients in dynamic sectors. No day is the same, and there are many opportunities to further develop within your field. Within Digital Trust, we drive the realization of the audit of the future, where we shift towards a 'human-led and tech-powered' audit. We work in teams with diverse competencies on assignments and utilize digital solutions. We do this both as part of the financial statement audit and for organizations that want to achieve certification or gain more insight into IT risks, such as their ERP system, internal controls, or cybersecurity.
