Tessa Brand

Senior Associate - Advisory Consulting Strategy&

Tessa has been working at PwC for precisely two years now. Given her technical background, she didn’t think she’d be working for a company like PwC, but things turned out differently. “What I particularly enjoy at PwC is the analytical aspect of my work in combination with working with clients and colleagues.”

“As a Senior Associate I work on projects for various different clients. It’s allowed me to see a lot of companies from the inside, and I’ve learned a lot from that. For example, I’ve dealt with issues affecting companies in the energy and financial sectors, but also hospitals. It’s really satisfying to visit those companies, get to know the ins and outs, and then find a solution to the problem and present some sound advice.”

“PwC gives me the time and space to develop my talents. This past summer, for example, I did a pro bono project in which I could seek out an organisation where I could take a close look at the business plan. It’s an organisation that constructs emergency hospitals in disaster areas including refugee camps. The plan I drew up has enabled them to make a greater impact. It’s marvellous to be able to contribute.”

“The culture at PwC is very diverse, with a lot of people from different backgrounds and nationalities. I learn from that every day, and that’s really a great thing about my work.”
