The AddValue team, along with the teams of PST (Portfolio Support) and Data Quality, is part of PwC's mid-office. These three teams together form our mid-office Business Enablement Services (BES). As part of PwC's digital transformation, we have also transformed our mid-office functions to the cloud. This means that the entire Contact-to-Cash cycle (C2C) is ready for the future. With the introduction of C2C, BES is currently undergoing a transformation to translate all processes to the teams within BES. Within BES, we have employees from various backgrounds, including finance, legal, risk, and compliance.

PwC is evolving constantly. We believe that Business Support should anticipate changes in both the business and the market, and that is why we offer sophisticated services that meet our internal customers’ priorities. The Business Support team consists of skilled professionals who act as valuable sparring partners for the business. They also provide proactive and flexible support, making maximum use of technology.

Business Support is divided into two teams: the Customer Team and the Expert Team. The Customer Team consists of Management Assistants, Virtual Assistants and Personal Assistants. They support their stakeholders in managing their daily schedules and all associated activities. Engagement with internal and external customers is the key. The Expert Team brings together six different fields of expertise. Our Expert Assistants arrange travel and accommodation abroad, handle visa applications, and organise complex meetings at internal and external locations. In cooperation with HR, they also assist in job application procedures and onboarding new employees. Last but not least, they ensure that all correspondence adheres to the PwC house style.

Creating Insights: We create valuable insights with an “outside-in view”, that supports strategic decision making, adds value to the client journey and gives PwC a competitive advantage​.

Content & Online: We provide content for all our target groups, we develop the PwC media channels (like the website and social media) and distribute relevant content at the right time, through the right channels.

Marketing: Together with our business partners, we develop marketingplans for our growth segments and translate this to impactful communication across all touchpoints along the client journey to strengthen our positioning and generate demand for our services.

PwC's Academy: We design, develop and deliver learning journeys and training programs for clients, providing didactic expertise, expertise in digital learning solutions, and project management for the training projects.

Relationship Marketing: We contribute to deepening and developing of sustainable relationships within and between (external and internal) target groups. We do this by developing and activating sponsorpartnerships and relation programme and by organising client events.

Tomorrow 2.0: We facilitate PwC teams in finding innovative and ground-breaking solutions for and with our clients. With our BXT professionals, we ensure an accelartion in creativity and impact of the solutions.

Winning Work & Pricing: We facilitate in large proposal projects and have expertise in the area of proposal management and design, negotiations and pricing.

PwC has more than 5,000 staff working in 14 buildings covering a total of 85,000 square metres. Their daily work depends on the support of the Facility Management team. Our team moved beyond a standard approach to custom service delivery a long time ago. All our operational and tactical work is outsourced to our partner ISS. We now focus on strategic frameworks and outputs so that our services generate significant added value for our organisation.

What else do we do? We align Facility Management’s objectives with PwC’s overall strategy. Based on this alignment, we plot a clear path and define our approach to our property or our many portfolios, including Media Services, Mobility, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Security. That path – the speck on the horizon – inspires dreams, aspirations, and ideas that we then transform into major and minor projects that deliver tangible and specific results.

In short, we are a dedicated team that makes an important contribution to PwC’s strategy by ensuring excellent facilities and services and that occasionally has a direct impact on PwC’s operational requirements and management, for example how we work, meet, and communicate in our buildings.

The Finance department is divided into two units, Controlling and Operations. In each one, you will have the opportunity to extend your range and continue improving in your specific area of expertise. Our team is always on hand to follow up systematically on financial processes while considering what the practice requires and what is happening in the market.

The Controlling unit checks timesheets, monitors the correct valuation of working capital, prepares annual accounts, and maintains the financial organisation so that accurate data can be reported to the various PwC departments.

Operations unit staff are devoted to ensuring that everyday internal financial processes run smoothly. They do this in five teams. The Client Investment team is responsible for accounts receivable and invoice processing. The Accounts Payable team processes incoming invoices and also invoices both internal and external suppliers (including those beyond PwC Netherlands). The Payroll team is responsible for payroll administration and the General Ledger team sees that all financial entries are transferred to the general ledger from primary documents, submitted files, and subsystems. This team also processes customer receipts and handles all outgoing payments and treasury in the broader sense. Finally, the Data Quality team manages basic client data, which includes checking the accuracy of client data entered by professionals.

Our Human Capital professionals want both our own employees and external candidates to have a positive experience. To begin with, we do this by offering our employees a competitive benefits package that we review every year.

IT Services (ITS) is PwC Netherlands’ internal IT organisation. We design, build and outsource IT solutions and ensure that they continue to meet peak performance standards. We work mainly for PwC’s 5,000 internal professionals but our IT solutions are often used by external clients as well.

As a member firm in the PwC Network of Firms, we are also part of the European and global IT organisation, in which we help to implement and roll out major platforms, global applications, and technology. We pool our resources and aim for the best, and we set very high standards, especially in terms of security and data protection.

As part of our responsibility for IT, we support the Tax, Assurance, and Advisory Lines of Service, as well Facility Management, Finance, Marketing, and other departments and units. We offer outstanding managed services, including laptops, telephony, collaboration tools, video-conferencing, VPN, DMS, VDI, and RPA.

We work with our Lines of Service colleagues in Digital Accelerator teams focusing on business transformation, innovation, and Digital Assets, for example by making use of robotics, AI, and data analytics.

Our experts work in the departments Technology, Security, Applications, End User Services, Project & Change, and Contracting. Most of our teams are based in Utrecht and Amsterdam.
