According to PwC's 27th CEO Survey, the vast majority of CEOs have taken actions to become more energy efficient. About half of them are also working on developing climate-friendly products and services. However, a significant portion of CEOs have no plans for other climate actions.

A standout point from the survey is that CEOs are primarily focused on reducing CO2 emissions, with actions directed at climate adaptation lagging behind. For example, only a third of the 4,702 worldwide respondents to the CEO Survey are implementing measures aimed at protecting employees, buildings and machinery from the impacts of climate change. Investing in measures to protect or restore biodiversity seems to be a blind spot for many.
