How do you, as a leader, ensure that everyone in your team feels seen and heard? And that everyone feels free to speak up about what is important to them? It is often thought that more diversity in a team automatically leads to more inclusion. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Achieving and maintaining an inclusive work environment requires time and attention. Inclusive leadership plays a key role in this.

But how do you do this exactly? This training program focuses on inclusive leadership and the positive effect it has on a safe and inclusive work environment.  It makes leaders aware of their role in promoting an inclusive work culture. Theory is combined with interactive exercises in which participants critically examine their own behavior and biases. This results in concrete and practical tools to become an inclusive leader yourself.

Some basic knowledge of general D&I concepts is required for this training. If this basic knowledge is not available, it is recommended to first take the Diversity & Inclusion - Awareness training program or/and the Diversity & Inclusion learning journey.

Who are the trainers

The trainers work as consultants at PwC and have extensive knowledge and experience in diversity and inclusion across various sectors. In addition, the trainers advise clients on developing a D&I strategy, implementing interventions to increase inclusion in an organization, and conduct research on the D&I maturity of an organization.
