We are pleased to announce that PwC will once again be organizing the Internal Audit Summer School for (future) heads of Internal Audit in September 2025.  

During the Internal Audit Summer School 2025, we will cover a wide range of topics. Including the state of the Internal Audit, Thought Leadership, current trends and developments in the world.

We look forward to seeing you during the two-day Summer School in September 2025.

For whom?

The IA Summer School is highly suitable for (future) heads of Internal Auditors who want to work on the following in a short period of two days:

  • Skills and knowledge about hot topics

  • Updating professional knowledge

  • Essential skills for Internal Audit 

  • Learning from and with other (future) heads of Internal Audit

This training is at an academic level, and is also suitable for anyone with experience or affinity for the subject.

Trainers

The Internal Audit Summer School is organized and led by Jan Driessen, Partner Internal Audit Services at PwC. Together with his colleague Anoep Singh, they will facilitate the 2-day event as moderators for you.

The trainers are employed at PwC and have extensive knowledge and experience in providing training on the selected topics. A separate trainer is available for each topic.

Cost

The cost of the two-day IA Summer School is €1,975, exempt from VAT. This includes lunch (2 times) and dinner on the first evening. PwC alumni are eligible for a 10% discount on the price of the IA Summer Course (not applicable to accommodation).

Accommodation is not included in the program. We offer you the opportunity to stay at Hotel Artemis, located opposite our office in Amsterdam, at a reduced rate. The prices for this will be announced in the spring of 2025. You will settle the payment directly with the hotel.

  • If you are a PwC Alumnus and would like to take advantage of the discount (10%) on the Summer Course (excluding accommodation).

You can include this training as a learning activity in your PE portfolio. After completing the training, you will receive a certificate of participation from us indicating the number of hours attended.

PE points for registered controllers / registered operational auditors (RC/RO)

After completing the training, you will receive a certificate of participation from us indicating the number of hours attended. You can register this yourself on the website of the VRC/IIA. 

The registration period closes two weeks before the training date in principle. After receiving your registration, we will send you a confirmation with additional information about the training. The number of spots per training is limited, so we kindly request you to register as soon as possible. If you are unable to attend, you can have a colleague take your place. Please inform us of this by email at nl_pwc_academy@pwc.com.

The training will proceed with a minimum of 12 participants.
