Sustainability is an important topic for organisations and its importance is continuously increasing. This applies to you as a professional, regardless of your role in the organisation. What does sustainability mean for your role and your organisation? With our 8-hour learning program, you will gain the necessary basic knowledge about ESG and regulations such as CSRD, and you will apply this knowledge together with our ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) experts to your own practice.
By following this learning program, you as a finance professional can meet the mandatory ESG sustainability theme set by the NBA for 2023 and 2024.
Note: the open training program is facilitated in Dutch. The inhouse training program can be facilitated in Dutch and English.
The program consists of an online kick-off session, interactive e-learnings and an on site / live meeting including a virtual reality experience.
The e-learnings cover topics that are discussed during the classroom session. We strongly advise you to go through the modules before the session, so that you can participate optimally.
The classroom training session includes our SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) VR Experience. Here you will experience why sustainability is important and which seventeen goals the UN has identified to make the world a better place in 2030. You will then work with our ESG experts on applying sustainability within your own field of work. You understand the role you can take on within your organisation when it comes to ESG and what translation you can already make of the requirements to your organisation.
you have the necessary basic knowledge about sustainability/ESG developments;
you have insight into the opportunities and risks that ESG creates for your organization and what role you can play;
you are familiar with ESG reporting obligations (EU regulations such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and CSDDD);
you can explain the double materiality analysis (an important starting point of the CSRD);
you are familiar with the focus, purpose, and structure of the CSRD;

We have already given this training several times for a wide range of organizations and target groups; both for groups of financial managers and employees, as well as for groups of participants with various functions.
The level of education is HBO level, and is also suitable for anyone with experience or affinity with the subject.
Note: Are you part of a public institution? We have a special program for employees and supervisors in the public sector.
