In order to be able to offer you our educational activities VAT-free, we have set up PwC's Academy. PwC's Academy is affiliated with the Central Register for Short Professional Education (CRKBO). Registration in the CRKBO register is a requirement for VAT exemption of our training offerings.
By participating in a PwC Academy training course, you save yourself 21% tax! PwC's Academy is a partnership between PricewaterhouseCoopers N.V. and PricewaterhouseCoopers Deelnemingen B.V. The PwC Academy's VAT-exempt training courses are subject to the 'Special Conditions', which include provisions regarding payment and cancellation.
You can include PwC's Academy courses as learning activities in your PE portfolio. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of participation from us stating the number of hours of training attended.
NB: NBA transitional arrangement for accountants
Until 30 June 2021, you still have the possibility to receive PE hours (AA and RA) which you can use for your PE obligation of 2020. We will provide you with a certificate of participation upon completion of the training. If you make use of the transitional arrangement and register for this training before 2020, you cannot use this training for your PE portfolio 2021.
Registered controllers can earn PE-points within the framework of the permanent education obligation of the Association of Registered Controllers (VRC). For each training we indicate how many PE- points you can receive upon participation. At the end of the training, you will receive a certificate of participation with the number of hours attended. You can register this yourself on the VRC website. More information on PE credits for Registered Controllers can be found here.
