Advancing in Internal Audit: Strengthen your professional skills

New! As part of the new Internal Audit curriculum, PwC offers a training for experienced IA professionals who have the ambition to grow into the role of Chief Audit Executive (CAE) and/or want to work on their professional skills. In this unique training for the Netherlands, our experienced IA professionals will provide you with the tools to further shape your ambition in two sessions. We will work on the practical implementation of Internal Audit models. These themes will be briefly presented, after which we will translate them into what this means for you and your organization: what practical challenges do you face. We do this, among other things, by working in groups and by learning from and with other participants.

This training consists of two sessions, followed by an intervision meeting.

Next level voor ervaren Internal Auditors

Day 1

The first day is dedicated to the competencies that you need as a CAE to be successful, the development and practical implementation of a strategic plan, and assurance mapping. You will learn about the competencies that a CAE needs and translate them into what this means for you.

Day 2

The second day is dedicated to mapping and managing your stakeholder field. In the afternoon, you will actively practice this and learn from and with each other. The training provides ample opportunities to learn from the experiences of your peers through assignments and discussions.

Intervision

After the two training days, you will further learn from the experiences of your peers and the experiences of a Head of Internal Audit in an intervision. You will also bring in your own learning points and dilemmas. During the intervision, we will reflect on the progress of your development and dilemmas. In addition, a CAE will be present to explain his journey to the role of CAE.

The intervision takes place approximately 4 months after the training and is scheduled during the training.
